Lorraine Parrott

Plattsburgh Mrs. Lorraine Parrott, 71, of Miller Street, Plattsburgh, New York passed away, Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at her home with her family by her side. She was born in Plattsburgh, New York on April 20, 1938 the daughter of Walter and Pauline (Greeno) Dubuque. Lorraine had worked with her husband Rodney in his business D & P Plumbing and Heating. She enjoyed camping, playing bingo, taking rides, the Christmas Holiday season and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Lorraine was a former member of the Women's Auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus Council #255 and she was a member of St. Peter's Church. She was predeceased by her parents Walter and Pauline Dubuque, her daughter Anne-Marie Parrott and a sister Ramona Cereske. Lorraine is survived by her husband of 56 years Rodney Parrott, a daughter Candy Cota and her husband Gary of West Chazy, three sons Rodney Parrott, Sr. and his wife Marie of Plattsburgh, Walter Parrott and his wife Tammy of West Chazy, Tracy Parrott of Plattsburgh, her grandson whom she raised Rodney Parrott, Jr., 16 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, a brother, Walter Dubuque and his wife Shirley of Rouses Point, William "Bill" Dubuque, Sr. of Plattsburgh, Raymond Dubuque of Plattsburgh, Robert Dubuque of New Jersey, a sister Faith Garrant and her husband David of Plattsburgh and Florida, several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Thursday, February 18, 2010 from 2-4 & 7-9 at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St., Plattsburgh, New York. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter's Church. Interment will be at a later date at St. Peter's Cemetery.
