Louise R Treistman

Plattsburgh Mrs. Louise R. Treistman, 87, of Kansas Avenue, Plattsburgh, New York passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at her home with her family by her side under the care of Hospice of the North Country. She was born in New York City on September 7, 1923 the daughter of Samuel and Celia (Nachman) Rodish. Louise enjoyed stained glass, quilting, Mah Jongg, sewing but most importantly, spending time with her family. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Julius Treistman and a brother Seymour Bishop. Louise is survived by a daughter Alice Marx and her husband Ron of Plattsburgh, a son Steven Treistman and wife Joanne of Falmouth, MA, five grandchildren; Ann Treistman-Urstadt and her husband Bryant, Jesse Marx, Ethan Treistman and his wife Marissa, Jason Marx and Jenna Marx, five great grandchildren, Susy, Owen, Danny, Sammy and Lily, several nieces and nephews also survive her. Services will be at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be offered to Hospice of the North Country.
