Lucy G Lafountain

Lake Placid Lucy G. LaFountain, 67, of Lake Placid, NY passed away on February 23, 2010 at Uihlein Nursing Home in Lake Placid, NY. She was born on January 1, 1943, the daughter of Oswald J. and Helen P. (Bruso) LaFountain. Lucy enjoyed going to BINGO and was known for her sense of humor. She was predeceased by her parents, four brothers; Lowell LaFountain, Sunny LaFountain, Lawrence Stevens LaFountain and Larry LaFountain, four sisters; Mae LaFountain, Madeline Breyette, Edith Martin and Bonnie LaFountain. Lucy is survived by two brothers; Gary LaFountain and his companion Ida Howe and Michael LaFountain, both of Plattsburgh, three sisters; Mary and her companion George Tallman, Sr. of Plattsburgh,, Lillian David and her companion Glen Coolidge of Plattsburgh, Florence Lavene and her husband Fred of Morrisonville, NY, and several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive her. Calling Hours will be held on Sunday March 7, 2010 from 7:00 to 8:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh, a funeral service will follow at 8:00 pm in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery in West Chazy, NY later in the year. Donations in Lucy's memory may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
