Lyla A "Dolly" Letourneau (Mott)

Lyla A. “Dolly” Letourneau, 84, formerly of Rouses Point, NY, passed away Sunday, October 4, 2020 at the Plattsburgh Rehab and Nursing Center in Plattsburgh with her family by her side. She was born in Alburgh, VT on January 28, 1936, the daughter of Timothy and Ida (Hazen) Mott.
Dolly enjoyed testing her luck going to the casino with her sisters. She was a true mother, providing for her family by cooking meals for her family and celebrating the holidays, especially Christmas. In her free time she often enjoyed canning vegetables.
She is survived by the love of her life and husband of 64 years, George, their children; George Michael, Leah and Jessica, David, Ann Moore and her husband Junior, Lisa Hynes and her husband Brian, her grandchildren; Emmy, Michelle, George “Mikey,” Ashley, Corey, Casey, Katie, Nichole, Justin, Jordon, Jennna, Kayla and Ashlyn, 15 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, her siblings; Judy Clark and Marjorie Seguin, and many nieces and nephews .
There will be no public calling hours or services. Burial will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery at a later date.
