Lynda A Myers

Lynda A. Myers, 80, of Kimberly Lane, Morrisonville, NY, passed away on Friday, June 23, 2023, at CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. She was born in Plattsburgh, NY on October 30, 1942 the daughter of Merle and Rena Myers. She married James H. Myers on September 1, 1962. They were married for 60 wonderful years. She graduated from Peru High School in 1960 and worked in multiple places, including Plattsburgh Air Force Base, as an administrative assistant concluding her career at BOCES.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, traveling the world, working in her flower garden, knitting, crossword puzzles, and reading.
She was predeceased by her brothers-in-law, Bob, Mahlon, and Jerry, sister-in-law, Joan, and niece, Kim.
She is survived by her husband, James Myers, and children Daniel (Chris) Myers, Greg Myers, and Mary Jo (Larry) Gouge; as well as 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by 4 sisters: Carolyn (Roland), Jane (Tom), Frances, Suzanne (Russell), and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, June 26, 2023, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 27, 2023, at 11:00 am at St. Alexander's Church in Morrisonville. Burial will follow in St. Alexander's Cemetery.
