Mae R Lombard

Altona Mae R. Lombard, 65, of Altona, NY passed away on Sunday, November 23, 2014 at CVPH Medical Center. She was born in Plattsburgh, NY on December 17, 1948 the daughter of the late William and Anna (LaFountain) Collins. Mae enjoyed the outdoors, going camping and working in her garden. She had a gift for crocheting and stitch work. Mae's greatest love was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by a great-granddaughter, Mayia Devins. Mae is survived by her companion of 43 years, Donald Gonyea, her children; Elizabeth Brooks and her husband Jeffrey, Brenda Osher and her companion Mark Devins, Jeannie Osher and her companion Archie Gonyo, her grandchildren; Cynthia, Jeffrey, Theodore and William Brooks, Amber, Mark Jr. Gina "Pebbles" and Jami Devins, great-grandchildren; Sodi Ann, Cole Clayton, Aliza Marie, Kierra Marie, Mark Allen III, McKenna Mae, and several brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Wednesday, November 26, 2014 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home, 3123 Miner Farm Rd., Altona, New York. A funeral service will be at 12:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Saranac Independence Cemetery, Saranac, NY. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Fitzpatrick Cancer Center or to the American Diabetes Association.
