Malcolm A. Martineau, 71, of Military Turnpike, Plattsburgh, NY passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. He was born in Plattsburgh on October 24, 1941 the son of Willard and Hazel (Collins) Martino. Malcolm worked for the Labor Local # 186 and Tracey Trombley Construction. He enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, fishing and hunting. In his younger years he raced at Airborne Speedway. Malcolm was predeceased by his parents, by his siblings; Richard "Benny", Wilfred, Carlton and Randall Martineau, Geraldine "Flossy" Fountain, Violet Caska, Viola Burch, Marion Massula and Muriel Martineau. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Phillis Martineau, two children; Shane Martineau and Sara Murdock and her husband Ryan, two grandchildren; Rayne and Adrian Murdock, his special friends, Robert and Patricia Shaea, several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive him. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday May 7, 2012 from 1:00 to 3:00 at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A funeral service will follow at 3:00 in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel, burial will be in Treadwells Mills Cemetery.
