Margaret A Benchsky

Margaret A. Benchskey, 74, of Plattsburgh, died Tuesday, December 25, 2023 at her home. She was born Saturday, August 27, 1949, the daughter of George and Gertrude (Willette) Benchskey. She was a faithful catholic. In her free-time she often enjoyed painting ceramics. She was a member of the District 3 Fire Dept. Ladies' Auxiliary. She is survived by her children; John Light Jr., and his companion Tammy Parsons-Cecil, Samuel Light, her companion Otto Gonyea, her grandchild Adam Light, her sister Barbara Stebbins, her brother James Benchskey, She is predeceased by her parents, her brother Leonard Benchskey, Visitation will be on Saturday, December 30, 2023 from 10:00-12:00pm at the Brown Funeral Home, Plattsburgh. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in St.Peter's Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Brown Funeral Home.
