Margaret K Carr

Plattsburgh Mrs. Margaret K. Carr, 91, formerly of Robert S. Long Apartments, passed away Tuesday April, 7, 2015 at the Meadowbrook Health Care Facility. She was born in Dannemora, New York on May 13, 1923 the daughter of Owen and Edith (Bedard) Brooks. Margaret enjoyed knitting and spending time with her family. She was a member of St. John's Church, the Altar Rosary Society of St. John's Church and the Catholic Daughters. Margaret was predeceased by her parents, her husband Robert Carr, two sons Randy and Robert and a sister Olla Jerry. She is survived by a sister Mary Corral and her husband Peter of Peru, her brother, Robert Brooks and his wife Lois of Plattsburgh, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. There will be no public calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, May 2, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. at St. John's Church. Interment will follow at St. Augustine's Cemetery, Peru, New York. Friends wishing may make donations to the Altar Rosary Society of St. John's Church.
