Margaret B "Peggy" Firenze

Beekmantown Margaret B. "Peggy" Firenze, 47, of the Anderson Road passed away unexpectedly Friday, December 11, 2009 at the CVPH Medical Center. She was born in Hudson, New York on January 15, 1962 the daughter of William and Edith (Awe) Lighthart. Peggy was employed as a Bus Driver for the Clinton County Advocacy and Resource Center. She enjoyed cooking, baking, flower gardening, swimming and spending time with family. Peggy was predeceased by her parents William and Edith Lighthart and her niece Rosine Lighthart. She is survived by a son Timothy S. Van Alphen II and his wife Heather of West Chazy, a daughter June Van Alphen of Plattsburgh, her companion Gene Burnell of Beekmantown, her siblings; Edward Lighthart and his wife Melissa of Germantown, NY, William Lighthart and his wife Nina of Germantown, NY, four grandchildren; T. J., Branden, Austin and Cheyenne, several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Tuesday, December 15, 2009 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St., Plattsburgh, New York. A funeral service will follow at 8:00 p.m. with the Rev. Marion Moore-Colgan, Pastor of the United Methodist Church officiating.
