Plattsburgh Mrs. Margaret I. Oliver, 94, of 46 Bushey Blvd., passed away Friday, May 30, 2008 at her home. She was born in Montreal, Quebec on March 6, 1914, the daughter of Thomas and Mabel (Hartigan) Cutler. Aside from spending time with her family and friends Margaret was also an avid New York Yankee fan. She is survived by a son Nelson and his wife Kay Oliver of Plattsburgh, a daughter, Sue Oliver of Plattsburgh, a brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Beverly Cutler of Montreal, Quebec, her grandchildren and their spouses, Dean DeLano, Dwight and Vicki Bell, Denise and Doug Philo, Darcy and Carey Case, Dana and Steven Simpson, Danelle and Thomas Pelkey and Debra O'Bar and 13 Great Grandchildren. Along with several nieces including Shirley Otten, nephews and caring neighbors also survive her. Margaret was predeceased by her husband, Howard Oliver who passed away September 5, 1982. A brother Bernie Cutler, and three sisters Shirley Cutler, Beatrice Pion and Maryann Caporuscio also died earlier. At Margaret's request, there will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. from Independence Cemetery in Saranac.
