Margaret E Palardy

Plattsburgh Margaret E. Palardy, 87, of Prospect Avenue, Plattsburgh, NY, passed away on Sunday July 17, 2016 at Meadowbrook Health Care in Plattsburgh. She was born in Westville, NY on March 18, 1929, the daughter of Herbert and Mary (Fleury) Dupra. Margaret married Francis Palardy on December 1, 1956 in Baltimore, MD. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband in 1959, her siblings; Rita, Bernard, Irene, and Richard and a grandson Steven Cornell. Margaret was very charitable, she donated to JCEO, Project Linus where she made quits and volunteered with Literacy Volunteers. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and quilting. Margaret is survived by her children; Francene Cornell and her companion Robert of Plattsburgh, Faith St. Hilaire and her husband Martin of Dickinson Center, NY and Ray Palardy and his wife Connie of Detroit, MI, Charlene Smith and her husband Jessie of Buffalo, NY, a sister Joyce King and her husband Richard, of Brainardsville, NY, 9 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and nieces and nephews also survive her. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday July 20, 2016 from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel, burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Plattsburgh.
