Marian Sheldon, 79, of Plattsburgh New York, passed away peacefully Wednesday, March 6th 2024. She was born in Albany, N.Y., on October 10, 1944. Marian was known as “Grammie” to everyone. She enjoyed spending time with her family, her cat Lily, crocheting, traveling, and was an avid Boston Bruins fan. Grammie was able to travel to Denmark in 2017, which was something she had always wanted wanted to do. Marian is predeceased by her husband, Peter J. Wagenstein, son-in-law, Chris Hamilton, and her siblings, Paul Pelon and Arlene St. Priest. She is survived by her children, Tammy Hamilton and her companion Luke Fessette of Peasleeville, Cynthia Dillion and her husband Vern of Lake Katrine, N.Y., Alan Sheldon of Schenectady, N.Y., Thomas Sheldon and his partner Monique Gale-Messina of Liberty, N.Y., her four closest grandchildren, Jessi Hamilton, Zachary Hamilton, Joshua Hamilton, Michael Sheldon, and several other grandchildren and great grandchildren.
