Marie A. Dumas, 95, of Tom Miller Road in Plattsburgh, passed away Friday April 3, 2020 at the Meadowbrook Healthcare Facility. She was born in Plattsburgh on April 6 1924, the daughter of the late Andrew and Edith (Brunnell) Mousseau.
Marie worked at CVPH Medical Center as a cashier for over 20 years. She was a member of St. Peter’s Church in Plattsburgh, the Altar Rosary Society, 1st Friday Club, and extensively volunteered with her husband at St. Peter’s Church and St. Peter’s School.
She is survived by a son and daughter in law; Roland (Ron) and Julie Dumas of Plattsburgh, her grandchildren; Jonathan Dumas and his wife Jennifer, their children, Ian, Ava, Ella, Kerri Emhof and her husband Rich and their children; Emma Sierdzinski, Charlotte and James Emhof, Karen Dumas all of PA, a sister Rose Mischler of Schuyler Falls, brother-in-law and his sister-in-law Richard and Linda Dumas of West Chazy and sister-in-law Donna Mousseau of Loudonville, NY, a special niece Vicki Howard, several nieces and nephews also survive her.
She was predeceased by her husband Roland Dumas in 2015, they were married in 1945.
Due to the current situation a Memorial Mass with be held at a later date at St. Peter’s Church in Plattsburgh, burial will be at St. Peter Cemetery.
