Marie A Tefft

Marie A. Tefft, 86, of Morrisonville, died Friday June 12, 2015 at the UVM CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. She was born on December 26, 1928 in St. Honore, Quebec, Canada, the daughter of Maxime and Elmire (Beaudoin) Blaise. Marie worked in Bermuda where she met and married the love of her life, Senior Master Sergeant Ralph F. Tefft. She was always known to cook, making the Tefft household a gathering place where everyone knew they would be welcomed with love, without judgement and plenty of great food. "Thank you Mrs. Tefft," was often heard in the house. Marie is predeceased by her parents, and several brothers and sisters. Marie is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, her children; Nanette M. Rogers of Plattsburgh, NY, Daniel M. Tefft and his wife Annie Paquette of New York, NY, Tina M. Tefft and her partner Tina Pellerin of Morrisonville, NY, and Patricia "Maxine" Tefft of Plattsburgh, 9 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. At Marie's request there will be no public calling hours. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
