Marilyn E Velie

Plattsburgh Marilyn E. Velie, 69, of Plattsburgh, NY died on July 1, 2017 at the UVM CVPH Medical Center with her family by her side. She was born in Plattsburgh, NY on November 23, 1947 the daughter of Philip and Ruth (Jennette) Favreau. Marilyn worked at CVPH as a LPN. She married Thomas Velie on March 16, 1967. Marilyn had a green thumb, spending time in her garden. She cared for her animals, especially her felines. Her greatest love was taking care of her family. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, her children, Carolyn Velie and David Velie, her siblings, Philip Favreau and Emmett Favreau and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents. A funeral service will be in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel with a date and time to be announced.
