Marion A Badger

Marion A. Badger, 96, of Chazy Lake Road in Saranac, passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2020 at her home with family by her side. She was born in Beekmantown on September 28, 1923, the daughter of the late Victor and Rose (Cross) Rivers.
Marion was employed for 33 years as a bookkeeper for Grand Union in Plattsburgh. She and her husband Lewis Badger also operated Badger Farm on the Badger Road. She was a member of the Church of the Assumption in Redford and enjoyed reading, baking and cooking.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews including Debra Defayette who was her caregiver.
Her husband Lewis Badger, a sister Rita Rock and her brothers Arthur and Victor Rivers passed away earlier.
Due to the current pandemic, services will be held privately for the family. Interment will be in St. Alexander’s Cemetery in Morrisonville at a later date. Memorial donations may be offered to St. Jude’s Childrens Hospital.
