Marion E. Mousseau, 92, passed away Saturday, January 23, 2021 at the Adirondack Medical Center. She was born in Plattsburgh on June 19, 1928 the daughter of Emile and Sarah Jane (LaTour) Garrant. Marion had worked in the cafeteria at Beekmantown Central School and then later at Meadowbrook Health Care Facility until her retirement. She was an avid reader, enjoyed flower gardening and spending time with family and friends. Marion was a member of St. Peter’s Church.
She was predeceased by her parents, her husband James Mousseau, a son James Mousseau, a grandson Robert Barcomb, a sister Betty Martin, a brother Emile Garrant and a brother-in-law Raymond LaRose.
She is survived by three daughters and three sons-in-law; Mary Jane and Bill Rascoe, Deborah and Terry Sears, Ruth and Brett Boismenu, a sister Shirley LaRose, a brother Gilbert (Sally) Garrant, ten grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, one great greatgrandchild and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Tuesday, January 26, 2021 from 12:00 noon until 1:15 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home, Plattsburgh.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at St. Peter’s Church.
Entombment will follow at the Plattsburgh Community Mausoleum.
