Marion B Ryan

Plattsburgh Marion B. Ryan, 86, of Plattsburgh, NY passed away Sunday, February 12, 2012 at Meadowbrook Healthcare Facility. She was born in Dannemora, NY on January 26, 1926 the daughter of Edward and Evelyn (Goddeau) Beauchemin. Marion graduated from Dannemora High School and then went on to Plattsburgh State University where she received a bachelor's degree in education. She worked as an Elementary School Teacher at Dannemora Elementary. Marion was member of St. Joseph's Church in Dannemora and enjoyed reading and traveling with her family on cross country trips. She predeceased by parents, a brother Edward Beauchemin, Jr. and a sister Florence Travis. Marion is survived by her husband of 64 years Michael Ryan. of Dannemora, NY, two sons; Michael Ryan and his wife Barbara of NJ, and Peter Ryan of VA, several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive her. Calling hours will be held on Thursday February 16, 2012 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home in Cadyville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday February 17, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church in Dannemora; burial will be later in the year in the parish cemetery.
