Marion Thompson

Plattsburgh Mrs. Marion H. Thompson, 90, of Concord Avenue, Plattsburgh, New York passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2013 at the CVPH Medical Center. She was born in Plattsburgh, New York on July 28, 1923 the daughter of Leo and Elizabeth (Langevin) Lashway. Marion worked at National Commercial Bank and Trust Company which became Key Bank where she was Head Teller until her retirement. She was an avid reader, doing crossword puzzles, knitting and in her early days, she enjoyed traveling. Marion was a member of the Ladies of the Elks, Plattsburgh Lodge 621. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Charles V. Thompson, and her brothers Irving, Rudy and Carl Lashway. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. There will be no calling hours. A memorial mass will be celebrated at a later date at St. Peter's Church. Interment will be at St. Peter's Cemetery.
