Marjorie E "Marge" Mcgee

Plattsburgh Mrs. Marjorie E. "Marge" McGee, 89, formerly of Sailly Avenue, Plattsburgh, New York passed away Monday, November 03, 2008 at the CVPH Medical Center with her family by her side. She was born in Keeseville, New York on June 17, 1919 the daughter of George and Exilda (Blaise) Fleury. Marjorie enjoyed watching Yankee baseball and playing bingo with her many friends. She will always be remembered for the everlasting love she had for her family. Marjorie was a member of St. Peter's Church. She was predeceased by her parents George and Exilda Fleury, her husband of 55 years Charles McGee, a brother Donald Fleury, a sister-in-law Catherine Goddeau, a son-in-law Carl Katz and a grandson Charles McGee. Marjorie is survived by four sons; Charles McGee and his wife Mary of Plattsburgh, Roland McGee and his wife Yong of Morrisonville, Gary McGee and his wife Sherrie of Denver, Colorado, Allen McGee of Dannemora, six daughters; Bonnie Katz of Plattsburgh, Carol Borner and her husband Bruce of Bardstown, Kentucky, Cathy Adams and her husband Tom of Plattsburgh, Diane McGee Rock and her husband Kevin of Morrisonville, Gail Roushia and her husband Bill of Plattsburgh, Karen Billings and her husband Creston of Point Au Roche, 23 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and a very special Godchild, Rose McGee of San Diego, California. Calling hours will be private and at the convenience of the family. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, November 4, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Peter's Church with Rev. John Yonkovig, Pastor presiding. Entombment will follow at Whispering Maples Mausoleum on the Tom Miller Road. Friends wishing may make donations to St. Peter's Church.
