Cadyville Mr. Mark E. Gagnon, 62, of State Route 3 in Cadyville, passed away Sunday, May 15, 2011 at his home. He was born in Plattsburgh on December 30, 1948, the son of Paul and Beulah (Brickey) Gagnon. He grew up in Morrisonville and attended Saranac Central School. Mark served his country as a United States Marine, serving a tour of duty in Vietnam. He was a member of American Legion Post 1619 in West Plattsburgh. He is survived by his twin sister, Mary Galpin of Plattsburgh, his brother Donald Gagnon and his wife Linda of Cadyville, his brother Steven and Sue from Keeseville, and several nieces and nephews including special nieces Missy DeLisle and Jessica Gagnon. Mark was predeceased by his parents. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at 10:00 am in the Brown Funeral Home chapel. A reception will follow the service at American Legion Post 1619 in West Plattsburgh. Interment will be held privately at St. Alexander's cemetery in Morrisonville. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Disabled American Veterans Chapter 179, P.O. Box 744, Plattsburgh, N.Y. 12901-0744.
