Mark A. King, 56, of Standish Street, passed away unexpectedly on Monday March 15, 2010 at his home in Plattsburgh. He was born in Plattsburgh, NY on January 19, 1954, the son of Donald and Doris (Bouyea) King. Mark graduated from Mount Assumption Institute in 1973, and later owned and operated Bouyea's Repair Shop in Plattsburgh. He was an avid fisherman and duck hunter and enjoyed spending time with his family. Mark is survived by his mother, Doris King, his siblings and their spouses, Linda and David Richard of Plattsburgh, Steven and Mame King of Plattsburgh, Lori and Steven Lafaive of Plattsburgh, Paul and Brenda King of Plattsburgh, 7 nieces and nephews, David Richard, Jennifer Latour, Alisen and Jonathan Lafaive, Jeremy and Sarah King and Ethan King, 4 great nieces and nephews, Taylor Richard, Anthony and Anailse Marie Marcoux King and Caleigh Latour, several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive him. Mark was predeceased by his father, and uncle George King, and a nephew, Alexander King. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, March 17, 2010 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St. in Plattsburgh. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, March 18, 2010 at 10:00 am from St. Peter's Church in Plattsburgh. Interment will be later in the spring in the parish cemetery.
