Marlane A. Banker, 88, of Flynn Avenue, Plattsburgh, passed away on March 11, 2024 at the Clinton County Nursing Home. She was born in Plattsburgh on October 12, 1935, the daughter of Milford and Elma Lindley. She enjoyed playing bingo, pull tabs, crocheting, and loved to watch her favorite Nascar driver Tony Stewart. She loved spending time in her vegetable garden but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and loved her dogs. She worked many years between Comfort Inn and Holiday Inn and even got an award for the cleanest rooms and she was so proud of that. She was the sweetest woman that you would have ever met and she will be missed dearly. She is survived by her children Brenda, Kevin, Mark and his wife Judy , Chris and Debi. Her 6 grandchildren Marlana (William), Kris (Jennifer), Krystal (Chad), Jason (Chrystal), Kristen and Justin 7 great grandchildren Kevin, Mark, Serenity, Nathan, Hailey, Taylor and MacKenzie. 2 great great grandchildren Presley and Zachary. She is predeceased by her parents and her long time best friend Ellie Stone. Calling hours will be held on Thursday March 21, 2024 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A funeral service will follow at 5:00 pm in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel.
