Marlene G Thompson (Macey)

Marlene G. Thompson, 79, of Plattsburgh, passed away, Sunday, December 18, 2016 at her home with her family by her side. She was born in Plattsburgh on November 12, 1937, the daughter of the late Francis and Madeline (Charbonneau) Macey. Marlene loved to go for rides throughout the North Country. She loved to test her luck playing BINGO or Scratch-Off Lottery Tickets. Her greatest love was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchild. She is survived by her children; Valerie St. Denis and her husband Shayne of Plattsburgh, David Allen Thompson, of Keeseville, Kimberly Stansbury and her husband Robert of Keeseville, four grandchildren; Angela Stansbury, Alyssa Stansbury, David Thompson, and Michael Thompson, and her great-grandson, Jordan Stansbury, her sisters, Jean Ormsby, and Joyce Nolan, both of Keeseville, her sister in law, Eva Macey, of Beekmantown, her canine companion, Ashley, and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents, her husband, Allen J. Upton Thompson, a grandson, Robert Allen Stansbury, and her brothers, Norman Macey, Robert Macey, and Carl Macey.
