Cadyville Mr. Marlon E. "Mark" Stow, 72, of Porky Ryan Road in Cadyville, passed away Thursday, February 26, 2009 at Fletcher-Allen Health Care in Burlington, Vermont. He was born on September 8, 1936 in Plattsburgh, the son of John and Della (Benoit) Stow. He was a corrections officer and retired from Clinton Correctional Facility in Dannemora and he also retired from Carpenters Union # 1042 in Plattsburgh. He enjoyed woodworking , building homes and furniture. He was a master carpenter that showed his love through everything he created. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He especially enjoyed the time he shared together with family . He is survived by the love of his life, his wife, Jean ( Stewart) Stow of Cadyville, his children and their spouses Cheryl and Jim Lucia of Dannemora, Craig and Christy Stow of Cadyville, Dale and Mary Stow of Crosby, Texas, Sharlene Stow of Plattsburgh, Lisa and Ron Kostoff of Phoenix, Arizona, Dean Stow of Boise, Idaho, Erica Larrabee of Morrisonville, Mark, Troy and Joel Revette, his grandchildren and spouses, Heather and Robbie Coryer, Jason and Joelle Lucia, Amanda Lucia and her fiancé Kyle Garrant ,Jamie Lucia, Shelby Stow, Lisa Stow, Robert Stow, Chase Nix, Jackson Kostoff, Cole Kostoff, his great grandchildren Colby and Kennedy Coryer , Serenity Rock, Amayah Lucia and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers Paul Stowe and Leslie "Sweet Pea" Stow, and three sisters Jacqueline O'Connor, Carol Daley, and Alice Tighe. Calling hours will be held on Monday, March 2, 2009 from 3 to 7 pm at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St. in Plattsburgh. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 2, 2009 at 7 pm from the Brown Funeral Home chapel. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Dannemora at a later date. Donations in memory of Marlon Stow may be made to the Taylor Hospitality Room in care of Fletcher-Allen Health Care in Burlington, Vermont or the Advocacy and Resource Center in Plattsburgh. .
