Martha A Barcomb

Martha A. Barcomb, 86, of Archie Bordeau Road, Plattsburgh, NY, passed away peacefully on Saturday August 6, 2022 at UVHN:CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. She was born in Syracuse, NY on February 22, 1936, the daughter of Lewis and Mae Calkins, Sr. Martha was married to her loving husband Joseph H. Barcomb, Sr.

She was a homemaker and loving mom. Some of her interests included going to BINGO, crocheting, camping and doing crafts.

She was predeceased by her parents and her husband, her siblings; Lewis Calkins, Gene Countryman, Lee Daliton, Irene Calkins and Jerry Calkins, her daughters; Roxanne Barry, JoAnn Young and Polly McCarrell.

Left to Cherish her memory are her children; Debra Miller, Donna Gonzalze, Joseph Barcomb, Jr., Bruce Johnson and his wife Jollie, Jean Austin and her husband Glenn, Timmy Barcomb, Josie Lubic and her husband Mark and a son-in-law Clifford McCarrell, twelve grandchildren; David, Christopher, Mary, Tina, Carrie, Amanda, Jessica, Clifford, Jr., Nicole, Kelsey, Melissa and Mark, II, several great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and nieces and nephews also survive her.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday August 11, 2022 from 2:00 to 5:00 pm at Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh, a funeral service will follow at 5:00 pm in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel. A graveside service will be held on Friday at 9:30 am at St. Peter’s Cemetery in Plattsburgh.
