Mary T Favreau

Mary T. Favreau, 87, of West Chazy, died Thursday, August 26, 2021 at her home. She was born in Plattsburgh, NY on October 20, 1933 the daughter of Fred and Leila (Dragoon) Guimond.
Mary worked at the Base Exchange until the closing of the Air Force Base and later worked at the VFW until recently. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Church in West Chazy. She was active in the community as an exempt member of the Beekmantown Fire Department Auxiliary, active member of the VFW #1466 Auxiliary, and the Beekmantown Busy Bees.
She is survived by her children; Kari Badger, Vernal “Jim” Favreau and his wife Sherry, Nadine Wheeler and her husband Stephen, her grandchildren, Jamie (Andrew) Bosselman, Jason (Megan) Badger, Stacy (Steve) Lesinski, Christopher (Adriana) Favreau; her great-grandchildren, Tyler, Emma, Cody, Robin, Brett, Rosemary, Cecilia, Jeff (Nadine) and one on the way, great-great-grandchildren, Devan and Wyatt, her sisters-in-laws, Theresa Favreau, Theresa Marcotte and her husband Al, Gloria Guimond, and several nieces and nephews and her beloved canine companion Molly.
She is predeceased by her parents, her husband Vernal Sr., her daughter, Donna Favreau and son Randy Favreau, and her 2 brothers and many in-laws.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 from 3:00-7:00pm at the Brown Funeral Home, Plattsburgh.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, September 2, 2021 at 11:00am at St. Joseph’s Church in West Chazy. Entombment will follow in Plattsburgh Community Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Beekmantown Fire Dept. Auxiliary or the VFW #1466 Auxiliary.
