Mary Ann Foley, 81, of Morrisonville, passed away on Friday, March 29, 2024 at the Glens Falls Hospital after a long courageous battle with cancer surrounded by her children. She was born Monday, January 18th, 1943 , the daughter of William C. Plumadore and Evelyn E. Laundry. Mary Ann graduated from Saranac Central School and worked Aranac Ribbon Mill, Phentex and retired in 2007 from Clinton C.F. as a NYS Correctional Officer. She loved going to her grandchildren's sporting events. She was one of their biggest fans. Mom loved sports, camping, fishing, hunting, playing the slot machines at the casino and her special bowling trips with her friends. Her passion was her family and friends; she accepted many people into our family and loved them like they were her own. She was everyone's Mema. For those of you that knew her, she touched your lives forever. She would want us to hold onto our memories and carry her love forever. Passing on that special gift of life that she shared with us. Always supporting our dreams and being there for each other. She will be greatly missed! She leaves behind her four sons, Eugene Devins, Sr. (Christina), Mark Devins, Sr.(Brenda), John Devins, Sr.(Crissy), and Robert Foley (Shelly Floreno); two daughters, Tina (Moak) Purdy (Danny Paige) and Sandra Smart; brother, William J. Plumadore; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents, William C. Plumadore and Evelyn E. (Laundry); brother "cousin", John S. Lisosky; former first spouse, Eugene A. Devins and former second spouse, Robert J. Foley; daughter-in-laws, Verna "Bonnie" (Demchak) Devins and Tammy (LaVarnway) Devins. Calling hours will take place on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Brown Funeral Home, Plattsburgh, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at 11:00 am at St. Alexander's Church. Weather permitting, Interment will follow at St. Alexander's Cemetery.
