Plattsburgh Mrs. Mary D. Golino, 92, formerly of Wallace Hill Road, passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at the Evergreen Valley Nursing Home in Plattsburgh. She was born in Manhattan, N.Y. on July 13, 1920, the daughter of the late Luigi and Louise ( Iacona) DeCarlo. Mary was a member of St. Joseph's Church in Treadwells Mill and was well known for her Italian cooking. She is survived by her children and their spouses; Rafaela "Rae" and Rodney Provost of Plattsburgh, Louise and Bob Soard of Holly Hill , Fl., Anthony and Karen Golino of Lake City, Fl., her siblings; Jerry DeCarlo of New York, Susan Kessler of Arizona, her grandchildren; Diane Pecoraro, Irene and Tom Senecal, John Pecoraro, Joseph and Kelli Pecoraro, Michele and Ray Buckminster, , Andy and Robin Provost, Jon Provost, all of Plattsburgh, Robert and Lori Soard of Canada, Steven and Leslie Soard of Pennsylvania, Michael and Kim Soard of Florida, John Golino , Kevin and Debbie Golino, all of Florida, 23 great grandchildren, and many, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband, John Golino in 1999. Several siblings also passed away earlier. In accordance with Mary's wishes, there will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 22, 2013 at 1:00pm at St. Joseph's Church in Treadwells Mill. Entombment will follow at Whispering Maples Mausoleum in Plattsburgh. Memorial donations may be offered to the Evergreen Valley Nursing Home Activities Fund.. Arrangements are entrusted to Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St., Plattsburgh, N.Y.(518) 561-3980.
