Mrs. Mary (Swallows) Marceau, 49, of Route 9, Chazy, New York passed away unexpectedly Saturday on May 23, 2009 at her home. She was born in San Diego, CA on September 1, 1959 the daughter of William and Helen Swallows. Mary was an avid reader and collector of figurines. She enjoyed NASCAR, camping and was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Montgomery Post 912. She was predeceased by her parents William and Helen Swallows. Mary is survived by her husband of five years Claude Marceau, two sons; Sean Riley of Columbia, SC and Tyler Wattley of TN, her step-father Jerry Fisher of Columbia, SC, A brother Michael Swallows of Columbia, SC and step sister Heather Swallows of Los Angelos, CA. A granddaughter Jade Riley, two step children Jennifer Slover of West LaFayette, IN and David Marceau Ridgefield, CT, three step grandchildren; Ashley and Payton Slover and Georgia Marceau. Several Nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins also survive her. Calling Hours will be held on Thursday May 28, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Church in Chazy, NY Donations in Mary's memory may be made to the American Legion Montgomery Post 912, C/O Brown Funeral Home.
