Champlain Mrs. Mary E. "Sandy" Meseck, 60, of McCrea Road in Champlain , passed away Friday, March 6, 2015 at the UVM Health Network- CVPH in Plattsburgh with family by her side. She was born in Plattsburgh on March 19, 1954, the daughter of Marion and Anthony Settevendemio and Roger and Maryann Girouard. Sandy was a member of the First Assembly of God Church and had a very strong faith in Jesus Christ her Lord. She was a New England sports fan and enjoyed camping, cooking and most of all spending time with her family. Even through her battle with cancer, she never lost her generous spirit and her caring nature for other people. She is survived by her husband, Bryant Meseck, her children; Kerry Rock of Plattsburgh, Jennifer and Frank LaPlante of Mooers Forks, Germaine Hicks and companion Peter Sorrell of Plattsburgh, Brent Meseck of Champlain, her mother Marion Settevendemio of Plattsburgh, NY and her father Roger Girouard of Fitchburg, MA; her siblings and their spouses; Roger and Patty Girouard of Rome, N.Y., Michael and Betsy Settevendemio of Peru, her grandchildren; Bryce Hicks, Kendal Rock, Joshua Rock, Teagan Ross , Chase Ross and Sadie LaPlante, her loving mother in law; Anna Meseck of Mooers Forks, and several brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her step father, Anthony R. Settevendemio and step mother, Maryann Girouard. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 9, 2015 at 1:00 pm in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Michael San Soucie of the First Assembly of God Church officiating. Interment will be in St. Peter's cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations may be offered to the First Assembly of God Church or the Fitzpatrick Cancer Center.
