Mary always devoted herself fully to both her family and to her church, lovingly caring for her mother until the age of 102. She was a member of St. John's Church where she served as Eucharistic Minister and Lector, taught CCD religion classes and was a member of the Altar Rosary Society. She was a professed member of the Secular Franciscan Order for over 30 years and volunteered at the Sacred Heart (now Evergreen) Nursing Home for many years.
