Mary J Slattery

Mary J. Slattery, 87, of Oak Street, passed away Sunday, April 24, 2022 at the UVM Health Network-CVPH with family by her side. She was born at Seneca Falls, NY on August 12, 1934, the daughter of the late John and Concetta (Soscia) Santoro.

Mary was a longtime member of the Mother’s Club and enjoyed cooking, baking, ceramics, her dogs, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children and their spouses; Connie and Norbert Neiderer, Donalda and Arsene Brodi, all of Plattsburgh, James Slattery of San Antonio, TX, Carrie and James Frenya of Plattsburgh, Lori and Robert Keever of Plattsburgh, Timothy Slattery of Plattsburgh, her twin sister Eda Pfeiffer of Waterloo, NY, a sister Frances Urqhardt of Seneca Falls, NY, her grandchildren; Adam Frenya (Alyssa), Kelly Gingrich (Ryan), Thomas Frenya, Kevin Neiderer (Brittany), Olivia Keever, Claire Keever, Heather Slattery, Benjamin Keever, her great grandchild; Josephine Frenya, and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband Thomas W. Slattery, her sisters Louise Key and Vinnie Grinwich.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 29, 2022 at 11:00 am at St. John’s Church. The family will greet visitors one hour prior to the Mass. Interment will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery at a later date.
