Mary E Waite

Plattsburgh Mary E. Waite, 79, of Beekman Towers, Plattsburgh, NY passed away on Thursday December 30, 2010 at CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. She was born in Plattsburgh, NY on May 30, 1931 the daughter of Joseph and Eva (Webber) D'Amour. Mary grew up in Plattsburgh she later moved to Canton, NY where she worked at SUNY Canton in the Maintenance Department. She enjoyed BINGO, shopping and was a member of St. Peter's Church in Plattsburgh. Mary was predeceased by her parents. She is survived a son, Joseph L. Waite and his companion Nora Chartier of Plattsburgh, five grandchildren; Jenny Waite-Thomas and her companion Joseph Willard of Potsdam, NY, Joey Waite and his fiancé Tanya Weller of Saratoga Springs, NY, Kayla Waite of Madrid, NY, Courtney Waite and her companion Justin Green of Plattsburgh and Melissa Waite and her companion Jeremy Walsh also of Plattsburgh, three great grandchildren; Abby Thomas, Emma Thomas and Nevaeh Green and an aunt Pearl Webber of Plattsburgh. Calling hours will be held on Saturday January 1, 2010 from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m., burial will be later next year in St. Peter Cemetery in Plattsburgh.
