Maude A Brown

Maude A. Brown, 87, of Miner Farm Road in Sciota, passed away Thursday, June 24, 2021 at UVHN:CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. She was born in Mooers Forks, NY on September 23, 1933, the daughter of Dewey and Evelina (Bodah) Reome.
Maude enjoyed watching Soap Opera, Yankee Baseball and bird watching. She was a parishioner of St. Louis of France Church in Sciota and assisted her husband when he was the caretaker of the cemetery. Maude also worked many years at Champlain Valley Hospital.
She is survived by her children and their spouses; Mark and Kandie Brown of Beekmantown, Dale Brown of West Chazy, a daughter in law Charlene Brown of Texas, her granddaughter; Hayley, her grandsons; Mark and Danielle Brown, and Justin and Joni Brown, a great granddaughter; Abby, 3 great grandsons; Jack, Scott and Hank, a dear friend of the family Joan Sterling, and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her son Dicky Brown and her husband Irvin “Dick” Brown.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday June 30, 2021 from 9:30 to 10:30 am at Holy Angels Church in Altona. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 am. Interment will follow in St. Louis de France Cemetery in Sciota. Masses may be offered in her memory.
