Michael P Bechard

Michael P. Bechard, 77, of Route 9, Chazy, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at the UVM Health Network- CVPH with his loving family by his side. He was born in Malone on February 3, 1945, the son of the late Arthur and Helen (Coupal) Bechard.
Michael was employed at Harris Graphics from 1966 to 1987 until the plant closed. He then went to work for the NYS Dept. of Corrections until his retirement in 2005. He loved riding four wheelers, spending time with his grandchildren, reading his Bible and spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years Sandra (DeCoste) Bechard, his children and their spouses; Todd and Grace Bechard of Plattsburgh, Adam Bechard of Chazy, Jason and April Bechard of Chazy and their children Aubrey and Brayden, his siblings and their spouses; David Bechard, Roy (Gail) Bechard, Diane Cioci, Linda (Betsy) Bechard, Judy (Theresa) Bechard, Terry (Alexandra) Bechard, Rick Bechard, and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a brother in law Howard Cioci and his father in law and mother in law; Eldemore and Bertha DeCoste.
In accordance with his wishes, there will be no calling hours. Graveside services will be held at Riverview Cemetery in Chazy at a later date.
