Michael T Brennan

Plattsburgh Michael T. Brennan, 56, of the Tom Miller Road, Plattsburgh, New York passed away Thursday, April 21, 2011 at the CVPH Medical Center with his loving family by his side. He was born in Plattsburgh, New York on January 4, 1955 the son of Leonard J. and Laura M. (Roberts) Brennan. Michael graduated from Plattsburgh High School Class in 1973 and shortly after enlisted in the U. S. Navy where he served on the USSLY Spear (AS-36) and the USS Josephus Daniels. After his military service he went to work at Wyeth as a Boiler Technician until his retirement this year. Michael was a kind and generous son, brother, uncle and friend. He appreciated the simple things in life and found great pleasure in spending time with family and friends and jamming on the guitar with his brother-in-law Joe Gebo and Johnny Champagne. Michael was a lover of all creatures great and small. Michael was predeceased by his parent Leonard and Laura Brennan, his brother William Brennan, nephews Christopher Brennan and Hunter Kripling, his maternal grandmother Amelia Roberts as well as his beloved canine companions Ginger, Manny and Ice Cream. He is survived by his five brothers; Patrick (Nancy) Brennan of Plattsburgh, Jim (JoAnn) Brennan of Wichita Falls, Texas, Tom (Patricia) Brennan of South Hero, Vermont, John (Dorothy) Brennan of Plattsburgh, Dan Brennan of Virginia, four sisters; Shirley (John) Bovender of Shalimar, Florida, Tina (Joe) Gebo of Plattsburgh, Dorothy (Tim) Horn of Tucson, Arizona, Connie St. Dennis of Plattsburgh, numerous nieces, nephews and many lifelong friends and his cat Kiki. Calling hour will be Wednesday, April 27, 2011 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St., Plattsburgh, New York. A funeral service will follow at 8:00 p.m. with the Rev. William G. Reamer, Chaplain at CVPH Medical Center presiding. Interment will be at St. Peter's Cemetery.
