PLATTSBURGH/WILLSBORO Michael L. DiCarlo, 57, of Willsboro passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2015, unexpectedly at his home. He was born on November 5, 1957 in Plattsburgh, NY, the son of Marie (Tetreault) DiCarlo and the late Joseph DiCarlo. He was the owner of Hair Designs in Willsboro for 39 years (formerly Jean Yves Hair Designs). Michael was a fun loving, bright-eyed and happy man who loved helping everyone. He touched the lives and hearts of all those who knew him. He is survived by his mother and step-father Nicholas Sten of Plattsburgh; his partner, Ed Haggett of Montpelier, VT, his four sisters; Cecelia DiCarlo, of King, NC, Marie Garrant and her husband Richard, of Peru, Diane Karns and her husband Robert of Grand Rapids, MI, Julie DiCarlo and her wife Bert Eskridge, of Mooers Forkes, his two brothers; Anthony DiCarlo and his husband Dr. Leonid Poretsky of New York, NY, and Joseph DiCarlo and his wife Marcie of Chester, NH and 15 nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 pm on Friday, February 20, 2015 at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. Michael will be remembered dearly and will remain in our spirits and souls.
