Michael J. Baker, 59, of Plattsburgh, went to be with the angels in the sky Sunday, June 16, 2024 at the CVPH Medical Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Known to his wife as Fatboy, He was born June 19th, 1964 , the son of Edward Baker, Jr. and Janice Gonyo. He married the love of his life, the former Sally Clukey on November 19, 2002 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Michael loved his family, camping, singing karaoke and hanging out at his son Joe's shop. Michael loved riding his motorcycle and taking big vacations with his loving family. His work was his passion, so he never thought of it as work and loved his coworkers. He loved driving his golf cart and gem car around the campground with his campground friends. He loved having tea parties with his princesses and loved driving the pink tow truck. He is survived by his loving wife, Sally Baker; children, Aime Dubuque and her wife Starr, Joe Clukey and his wife Kimberly, Chantel Gelwicks and her husband Ramsey, Michael Baker and his wife Demi, Katie Baker, Crystal Staley, Brianna Baker and her boyfriend Tanner Crowningshield; grandchildren, Riley, Seondra, Jada, Harmony, Hunter, Steven, Gabriella, Haizel, Brent, Damien, Jazarah, Ayva, Aniyah, Jazmine, Roger, Shelby, Sandra, Kahlyn, Skylar, Luke, Amanda and her husband Kyle AKA Yoyo Brain, Justin and his wife Alexis, Brent and his girlfriend Krysta, Joseph, Tiffany and her husband Kyle, Erika and her boyfriend John, Norman, Austin and his girlfriend Alexis, Derick, Savannah, Joseph, and Colt, great grandchildren, Jayden, Lillian, Adelynn-Rose, Layla, Sophianna, Jayce, Bryson and Dallas; his fur baby, Duke; siblings, Tina Cody, Kimberly Clukey, Jennifer Mahony and her husband Andrew, and Kristen Baker; his aunt and uncles, Art and Shelia Baker, Robert and Bonnie Gonyo, and Lenora Gonyo;his nieces, nephews and cousins. His Ausable Pines campground family including the owners, John and Rosa Abare. He is predeceased by his parents; brother, Brent; granddaughter, Athena; two granddaughters, Fantasia and Jasmine; his in-laws, Patricia and Carl Clukey. Calling hours will take place on Thursday, June 20, 2024 from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. A prayer service will take place following, followed by an interment at St. Peter's Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will take place on Sunday, June 23, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. at 271 Rugar Street, Plattsburgh, NY 12901. Arrangements are entrusted to Brown Funeral Home.
