Michael R King

Michael R. King, 76, of Route 22B in Peru, passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at his home with family by his side. He was born in Willsboro on September 22, 1946, the son of the late Mark and Margaret (Marcoux) King.

Michael was employed as a Yard Superintendent for Murnane Associates for many years and was an avid hunter and outdoorsman.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Carol (Martin) King, his children and their spouses; Margo and Terry Gordon, Joelle King and significant other Karen Zuckerman, Heidi and Eric Duquette, his siblings and their spouses; Gary and Beverly King, Charlotte and Bob Burt, Janice Hutchins, Danny and Bonnie King, his grandchildren; Hannah Root, Lindsay and Casey Blair, Adam and Olivia Duquette, his great grandchildren; Owen and Leeland Blair, and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by three brothers, Jim, Warren and Wayne King, and a brother in law, Conrad Hutchins.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Calvary Cemetery in Willsboro.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or Hospice of the North Country.
