Mildred M Desotelle

Plattsburgh Mrs. Mildred M. Desotelle, 83, formerly of Lake Shore Road, Chazy, New York passed away Friday, January 21, 2011 at the CVPH Medical Center with her family by her side. She was born in Plattsburgh, New York on November 22, 1927 the daughter of Lester and Bertha (Akey) Crossley. Mildred enjoyed gardening and being outdoors. She worked at Delegar in Champlain, retiring at age 75. While living in Chazy she was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Chazy. Mildred was predeceased by her parents, her husband Royce H. Desotelle and a brother Lester Crossley. She is survived by five sons; Howard Desotelle and his wife Suzanne of Champlain, Herman Desotelle and his wife Rosemary of Mooers, William Desotelle and his wife Susie of Champlain, Michael Desotelle and his companion Jean Bush of Champlain, Jay Desotelle and his companion Pauline Powers of Chateaugay Lake, seven grandchildren, several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Monday, January 24, 2011 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St., Plattsburgh, New York. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter's Church. Interment will be at a later date at St. Peter's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers Masses may be said in her memory.
