Mildred M. "Millie" Jubert, 90, most recently of Rouses Point NY, passed away peacefully Sunday, January 16, 2022 at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh NY. She was born and grew up and lived her early married life in Sciota NY. She lived most of her life in Plattsburgh NY where she was very busy working full time jobs and several part-time jobs. She worked for Dr. Nello V. Delbel for several years and also the National Commercial Bank and the City of Plattsburgh in the City Engineer's Office and for the Plattsburgh Teachers Federal Credit Union. During those jobs she also worked part-time in the billing department of CVPH Medical Center and as a scorekeeper for the stock car races at Airborne Speedway. Most recently until she was 89, she worked at Beekmantown Elementary School as one of their cafeteria ladies. Millie worked hard and also played hard. She bowled, golfed, loved music and dancing, the casino and horse racing.
Millie is predeceased by her parents, Henry and Gertrude (Mayo) Pelkey and her husband, Vernon F. Jubert.
She is survived by her daughter, Debi (Deane) Tremblay, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren Lane, Brian and Logan, Hillary, Jake and Kelsey. She is also survived by her sister, Anita Lemire and her brother, Henry Pelkey Jr. (Paulette).
Millie is also survived by several very caring nieces and nephews and wonderful friends, one of whom fondly called Millie the "Betty White of Plattsburgh".
There will be no public calling hours at this time. A graveside service will be held at a later date in the family plot at St. Louis de France Cemetery in Sciota NY followed by a reception in Millie's honor.
