Mildred E. Renadette, 89, Mildred Ellen Coryea was born on November 19, 1928, to John J. Coryea and Pearl Goodman in Altona, New York. She left this earth peacefully on Friday, September 28, 2018 at the home of her daughter Susan (Sue) and son-in-law, Michael Bulriss in Boerne, Texas. Mildred married Richard Baker of Sciota, NY December 28, 1946. The marriage produced two daughters and ended 1969. She then married Claude J. Renadette in Schuyler Falls, NY in July 1970. Two sons came with this union. Mildred's work career included working as a cook at Miner Institute. She then transferred to SUNY Plattsburgh and later CVPH Medical Center, where she retired from in 1976. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 20 and was an avid bowler. Mildred loved playing cards and a good game of Rummy. She was predeceased by her parents, three brothers: Leeward, Francis and Donald Coryea, two sisters: Florence and Thelma. Also, she is predeceased by one daughter: Peggy Schramm of Indiana and one son Rickey James Renadette of North Carolina as well as her husband Claude J. Renadette and long time companion Melvin Bennett. Survivors include one daughter, Susan and Michael Bulriss of Boerne, Texas and one son, Keith and Joan Renadette of Mooers Forks; son-in-law, Warren Schramm of Indiana; daughter-in-law, Dorothy Renadette of North Carolina; seven grandchildren: Michael Bulriss, Jr. and Cynthia, Texas; Amy Schramm of Indiana; Elizabeth Schramm and Carl Walker of Iowa; Jessica and Aric Pelt as well as Ryan and Megan Renadette of North Carolina; Danielle and Daniel Rock of Georgia; Rachel Lincoln of Plattsburgh. Seven great grandchildren include: Cameron Harris, Cody and Marie Bulriss, all of Texas; Jayleigh Hawk and brother Peyton Pelt of North Carolina; Abby Rock and Benjamin Rock of Georgia; Emma Lincoln of Plattsburgh. Mildred's only great great granddaughter is Lacie Lynn Bulriss of Texas. Other survivors include two brothers: Albert Coryea of Morrisonville, Walter and Nina Coryea; sisters-in-law: Florence (Baker) Roushia and Barbara Coryea of Plattsburgh; Pauline Baker of Chazy. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday October 3, 2018 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh and on Thursday from 9:15 to 10:15 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 11:00 am at St. Joseph's Church in West Chazy, burial will follow in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mildred's memory may be made to the American Legion Post 20, American Heart Association or the American Lung Association.
