Mylrae Myers

Mrs. Mylrae A. Myers, 78, formerly of Ashley Road Beekmantown and most recently Altona Senior Housing passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at the CVPH Medical Center with her family by her side. She was born in North Tonawanda, New York on March 20, 1934 the daughter of Felix F. and Veronica J. (Marko) Kubic. Mylrae had been a dental assistant for Dr. J. H. Wolfe in Tonawanda, NY. She married Richard S. Myers, Jr. on August 14, 1954 at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Tonawanda and had made her home in the North Country since. She enjoyed gardening, housework, crossword puzzles and spending time with family and friends. Mylrae was a member of St. Joseph's Church, West Chazy. She was predeceased by her parents, a sister and brother-in-law Elizabeth and Kenneth Sihrer and two brothers-in-law Arnie Miller and Gabe Begin. Mylrae is survived by her husband Richard S. "Dick" Myers, Jr. of Altona, three sons; Stephen Myers and his wife Beth of Altona, Richard J. "Joe" Myers and his wife Julie of West Chazy, Timothy J. Myers of Washington, DC, two daughters; Renee M. Cook and her husband Ronald of Morrisonville, Laurie J. Bell and her husband Michael of Plattsburgh, five sisters; Phyllis Miller of Florida, Patricia Bradley and her husband Steven of Temple, Texas, Kathleen Begin of Lancaster, NH, Christine Lavelle and her husband Ed of Chelmsford, MA, Robin Croteau and her husband Gerald of Groton, MA, two brothers; Mark Kubic of Ft. Myers, FL, Guy Paul Kubic of Alabama, her grandchildren Jason, Jennifer, Jessica, Heather, Ian, Daniel, Amanda, Kaylah and Olivia, several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Friday, November 9, 2012 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home, 29, Broad St., Plattsburgh, NY. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church, West Chazy. Interment will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
