Nancy E. Wilson Craig, 83, of Hardscrabble Road in Saranac, passed away Sunday, January 17, 2021 at her home with family by her side. She was born in Mineville on October 20, 1937, the daughter of the late Ernest and Ines (Hoag) Crowe.
Nancy enjoyed camping, cooking , flower gardening and spending winters in Florida.
She is survived by her husband Gary Craig, her children and their spouses; James R. “Chico” and Laurie Wilson, Tim and Sue Wilson, David Wilson, Bridget and Maurice Miner, Cynthia Edwards and Richard Craig,. her sister; Tina Crowe, 13 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, her first husband of 50 years Wesley Wilson, and her brothers John and Sherm Crowe and her dog Corky.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 from 10:00 to 11:00 am at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St in Plattsburgh. Face masks and social distancing are in effect. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 am in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in Independence Cemetery in Saranac at a later date. Memorial donations may be offered to Hospice of the North Country or the Fitzpatrick Cancer Center.
