Nancy A Mashtare

Nancy A. Mashtare, 57, of General Leroy Manor Road, Cadyville, NY passed away on Monday March 26, 2012 at CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. She was born in Plattsburgh on November 6, 1954 the daughter of Francis and Alice (Liberty) Davis. Nancy graduated from Saranac Central School. She worked at Saranac Central School for many years as Bus Aide. Nancy was known for her love of animals especially her horse B. J. and spending time with her grandchildren. She was predeceased by her mother and a sister-in-law Linda Davis. Nancy is survived by her companion Craig Bowman, a daughter Bobbie Jo Staley and her husband D. J., four grandchildren; Keenan Clancy, Paiden Staley, Kenley and Kaleb Staley, a sister Ellen Bowman and a brother William Davis all of Cadyville, several nieces and nephews also survive her. Calling hours will be held on Friday March 30, 2012 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home in Cadyville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday March 31, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church in Dannemora, burial will follow in Saranac Independence Cemetery in Saranac, NY. Donations in Nancy's memory may be made to the Fitzpatrick Cancer Center.
