Nel Vos Patnode

. Nel Patnode,71, of Plattsburgh passed away Monday, April 8th. She was born on 19th of July 1952 on a Saturday. The daughter of Cornelis Gerrit Vos and Hendrika Engelina van Schaik. Nel Patnode was true the years that she lived in the United States, well loved by many people, she was kind and openhearted to many that she met, she loved to joke around. Her passion was her cats. She loved her music, and all kinds of different food she liked to try. Nel (Neeltje) Patnode is survived by her daughters Miranda Wong and her boyfriend Hans Ponsen and Ilona Wong, and her best friend Janet McGrath Calkins of Schuyler Falls, Randy Patnode and his wife Cindy Kimball of West Chazy, Laura Wilson of Altona, and brother in law Wallace La Goy, and nephew and niece Richard Vos and Patricia Vos of Baarn, And many sweet nieces and nephews in the United States as in the Netherlands. She is predeceased by her parents and husband Daniel F. Patnode, her brother Cor Vos and Maas Vos, her brother in law and sister in law, Judy Barber, Sandra La Goy, Debbie Provost, James Patnode, Ellen Rabideau, Linda Mc Donald, brothers in law and sisters in law; Richard Barber, Roger Bodah, Carol Patnode, and Grant Wilson, Shawn Patnode, Larry Rabideau, Joseph Patnode, and Stephen Provost. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2024 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad Street in Plattsburgh. A Funeral Home Service will take place at 4pm following the calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Elmore SPCA.
