Nicholas T. Orlando, 69, of Cadyville, passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at the UVM-CVPH Medical Center with his family by his side. He was born in Brooklyn, NY, on June 22, 1949, the son of Joseph and Geraldine “Tina” (Pope) Orlando.
Nick was a true outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing. In his free time, he often could be found woodworking or donating his time to the Babbie Farm Museum. His greatest love was being with his family.
He is predeceased by his parents.
He is survived by his loving wife Maxine, his children; Kevin (Jamie) Cobb, Joseph Orlando, and Bobby Jo (Marc) Bachand, his grandchildren; Brandon (Jaelie) Cobb, Sarah Bachand, and Lauren Bachand, great-grandchildren, Xavi, Callum, America Cobb, and Damion Cobb due in July, his siblings; Rocco Orlando and his wife Michelle, and Patricia Rock, his uncles; Nicholas (Jean) Pope and Dr. Michael Pope, his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; Carol (John) Kingsbury, Alice Ouimette, Sandi (Dennis) Connell, Linda Ouimette, Ruth Kauffman, and George (Donna) Ouimette, and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be on Saturday, May 11, 2019 from 10:00am-12:00pm at the Brown Funeral Home, Cadyville. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Keeseville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Babbie Farm Museum.
