Nichole M Julian

August 22, 1979 — February 11, 2022

Nichole McMullen Julian, 42, of Plattsburgh, passed away on Friday February 11, 2022 from an automobile accident. She was born in Warsaw, NY on August 22, 1979, the daughter of Michael and Connie McMullen. Nichole graduated from Plattsburgh High School in 1997. She earned a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Elementary and Special Education from SUNY Plattsburgh.

We are heartbroken over the sudden loss of our Nichole. She had the most beautiful smile; her presence and laughter could brighten any room. She was a loving mother to the lights of her life, Logan Patrick and Ava Kelerin. Her love and dedication to her children was evident to all that knew her. Nichole’s zest for life and sense of adventure and will not be forgotten. She took solace in being on Lake Champlain, the family farm, and any outdoor adventure. Nichole had the uncanny ability to make anyone feel better during difficult times. She was the first person to offer support and offer to help.

Nichole’s influence in the North Country is immeasurable. She had a natural talent in teaching children how to love learning. Over the past 20 years Nichole has taught hundreds of Pre-Kindergarten children in the community.

Nichole’s legacy will never be forgotten as it will live on through her children and her impact to the community.

Nichole is survived by her family: Sam Julian, a son Logan Julian and daughter Ava Julian, her parents; Michael and Connie McMullen formally of Plattsburgh now in LeRoy, New York, her siblings; Erin Buskey and her husband Cory and their children Camden and Isabelle of Wesley Chapel, FL, Patrick McMullen and his daughter Reagan Nichole of Plattsburgh, NY and Kelly McMullen of LeRoy, NY, her Grandparents; Gordie & Donna Logsdon and Corky & Margie McMullen, her mother in-law and father-in-law; Donna and Dan Ferguson, her sister-in-law and brother-in-law Jessica & Chris Evans, and their children Carter and Brooke, many aunts, uncles, & cousins who deeply love her.

She was preceded by her great grandparents Pete & Mary Jane Logsdon, and an aunt Jody Logsdon Mikolajski.

Anyone who wishes to honor Nichole is requested to make a donation to her children’s education fund via Michael McMullen.
